EUHA 2025: Auracast is ready thanks to Bettear’s installation
It is the night before the start of the 2025 EUHA, and Bettear is helping Auracast take centre stage.
We are en route to Nuremberg to take part in the annual event which sees audiologists and hearing aid experts come together for three days of seminars, learning, demonstrations and fun.

The event, officially known as the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA) Congress will launch at 9.15am on Wednesday, 22 October at the Nuremberg Messe. Speakers will include team members from EUHA, representatives from the German Hearing Aid Industry Association (BHII), and Andreas Haidenthaler, Consul for Trade Affairs at the Austrian Consulate General in Munich, who is representing this year’s partner country, Austria.
Later in the morning, there will be the opening keynote speech, Is Politics Listening To The Skilled Trades? Taking Stock of the First Months of Government. This will be given by Dr Markus Peifer, German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH).
After that, there will be a presentation of the EUHA sponsorship award and the FDHA prize.
The talks and seminar programme continues through to Friday, 23 October. The final day includes a practical demonstration of Auracast.

And across all three days, there is the International Industry Exhibition with 150 different exhibitors taking part, ranging from hearing aid manufacturers to accessory suppliers, audio gear and AV equipment.
It is a great opportunity to learn more about the latest and upcoming developments in the hearing aid industry.
How Bettear is helping EUHA with Auracast

Auracast is being deployed across the conference centre, the first time that EUHA has been set up to use the new assistive listening technology.
Bettear, which we profiled in this piece here, is supplying the equipment.
EUHA’s scientific lecture programme will be kitted out with the B Caster, with people able to borrow one of 120 B-RTX receivers to tune into the Auracast in either German or English. People can chose which audio stream they want to listen to.
Alternatively, if they have their own Auracast-enabled hearing aids or headphones, they will be able to tune in using their own Auracast Assistant.

In addition to the lecture hall, the EUHA Live Area in Hall 7 will also be set up with Auracast and there will be additional opportunities for journalists to try Auracast out for themselves.
We are delighted that Auracast is front and centre of EUHA 2025 and can’t wait to experience Bettear’s system for the first time.
Across EUHA, we will bring coverage of events and Auracast-related news.
