EUHA, the world’s largest gathering for hearing care professionals, is preparing for a landmark anniversary event this autumn: and we hope Auracast will continue to be front and centre.
The 70th International Congress of Hearing Care Acousticians is scheduled to take place in Hanover, Germany, from Wednesday, 14 October to Friday, 16 October 2026.
A major focus of last year’s congress was the live integration of Auracast Bluetooth. This technology was used throughout the lecture hall and the EUHA Live Area to provide simultaneous translations from German to English, and high-quality audio streaming directly to attendees.
The three-day event includes a large exhibition area where hearing aid manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and technology experts will showcase the latest innovations.
While all that is going on, there is a wide-ranging lecture programme. Organisers have officially opened the “Call for Papers,” inviting experts to submit lecture proposals to shape the scientific programme.
The Executive Committee of the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA), led by President Beate Gromke and committee member Dirk Köttgen, is seeking contributions that reflect the latest trends and research in the field.
Last year’s sessions touched on hearing health and cognition; the impact of hearing loss; demystifying adaptation to hearing aids; and the impact of compression on neural representation of speech
There were also tutorials, including a session on Auracast, and the research behind the NAL-NL3 hearing aid fitting system.
A hub for hearing innovation
For decades, the EUHA Congress is the primary meeting for the hearing care industry.
The 2026 anniversary event will combine a high-quality scientific lecture programme with a major industry exhibition, providing a platform for international networking and personal exchange.
Key topics for submission
The congress is welcoming contributions on a variety of industry-relevant subjects, including:
- CI care: focusing on diagnostics, indications, and care.
- Hearing system technology: exploring how hearing systems work, new algorithms, and signal processing strategies.
- Paediatric audiology: addressing care requirements, experience, and exchange.
- Future trends: including news from hearing research (physiology and diagnostics) and developments in hearing system care.
- Business management: operational and strategic management, and entrepreneurial thinking for hearing care professionals.
How to submit
